Abstract: This article introduce the basic concept and classification of the router at first.On the basis of that it mainly analyze the Ipv6, increase throughput of router, programmable ASIC, VPN, QoS, MPLS, muticast,administration of network technologies based on router. At last it summarized these technologies in detail.
