Listen to the tape carefully, and find out the answer to the questions:

What things can you do to deep the environment clean?

Don’t throw litter on the ground, don’t draw pictures on walls, don’t spit in a public place, and don’t cut down trees.

Pick up rubbish and throw it into a dustbin, collect waste paper and bottles for recycling, plant trees and flowers.

1. Revision

(1) Have a dictation for the new words in lesson 10 and 11.

(2) Ask some of the students to give a short talk about the environment.

(3) Do exercise 1 in lesson 10 to revise the story about the environment..

(2) Revise the forms of the verbs by doing the exercise 1 in lesson 11.

2. Listening

Read the words first and the listen to the tape, listen again after giving the class a few minutes to write down their answers.

Check the answer at once.

3. Ask and tick

Ask a friend or your partner these questions in the questionnaire. Then tick his /her answers.
